Workshop on introduction to robotics development solutions

With the aim to introduce solutions to develop Robots to serve the new training industry of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), on the afternoon of March 25, 2021, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering cooperated with Hoang Quoc Co., Ltd. to hold a workshop to introduce ultra-light robots KINOVA Gen 2 and KINOVA Gen3.

Overview of the workshop

Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a high-level combination between the physical and digital hyper-connection system with a focus on the Internet, IoT, and AI. Vietnam is approaching and applying the achievements of the industrial revolution 4.0 to all industries and services. The combination of new sensor technology, big data analytics, cloud computing, and Internet of Things connectivity will drive the development of automated machines and intelligent manufacturing systems.

The KINOVA Gen2 ultra-light robot is ideal for human-robot research and interaction laboratories in dynamic, unstructured environments. Its compactness and mobility increase the efficiency of your workspace, while the robot's openness allows you to tailor your solution as your needs evolve.

The representative of Hoang Quoc company introduced robotics development solutions

At the seminar, a representative of Hoang Quoc company introduced the KINOVA Gen 2 and KINOVA Gen3 Robot products, which are key products because they are enabled by the application development platform and unique software framework, open and intuitive. The two robots integrate discrete 2D and 3D sensors, ideal for machine vision-based applications.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering hopes to gain more access to robotics development solutions, increase the link between the suppliers and companies in the robotics field.
