MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

1. Program Educational Objectives

PEO1: Apply knowledge of mathematics, fundamental science to analyze problems encountered, to evaluate and develop possible in the field of mechatronics engineering technology; Engage in lifelong-learning.

PEO2: Have a basic knowledge and major in mechatronics engineering technology; apply specialized knowledge in detecting and solving problems related to the design, manufacture, operation, and maintenance of mechatronic systems.

PEO3: Graduates will lead teams to proficiently address multidisciplinary technical problems in a global work environment.

PEO4: Knowledge of the policy, laws, and contemporary issues; having basic knowledge in the fields of social sciences and humanities to make effective contributions to the sustainable development of society and the community.

2. Student Outcomes

a. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, fundamental science to establish, simulate, develop and analyze the mechatronic systems

b. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.

c.An ability to design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data as well as identify, formulate, solve engineering problems, and adopt the optimum solutions.

d. An ability to communicate effectively based on the standard-level language.

e. An ability to function effectively as a member as well as a leader on multidisciplinary teams

f. An ability to apply written, oral, and graphical communication in broadly defined technical and non-technical environments; and an ability to identify and use appropriate technical literature;

g. A recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in lifelong learning;

h. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility

i. An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability

j. A knowledge of the policy, laws, and contemporary issues
